Ice Skating Birthday Invitations

Celebrate a winter birthday with an Ice Skating birthday party. Whether you have a hockey player or a figure skater on your hands, an ice skating party is sure to please. Head out to your local ice rink for a few hours and then head back home to continue the celebrations.

Don't forget to include lots of hot cocoa to serve after the skating!

Winter Party Food Ideas

It can be fun to prepare and serve party food that fits your theme. For a Winter Party, try foods that are white like the snow, cold like the weather, or shaped like the snowmen outside!
Make popcorn balls in three different sizes and before they cool completely, stack the three sizes on top of each other to create edible popcorn snowmen!
Make cookie snowballs by baking sugar cookies cut with a circle shape, and frosting them in white frosting. For those who like it, sprinkle coconut on top.
Serve an all-white veggie and cheese tray with a white dip like ranch dressing. Try jicama, cauliflower, and mushrooms for the veggies, and mozzarella, swiss, and provolone for cheese.
Make edible snowballs by freezing round scoops of vanilla ice cream for at least 2 hours, then rolling them in coconut.
Freeze blue Kool-Aid in ice cube trays. Serve a punch bowl of ginger ale and float the blue "ice caps" on top.
Make an easy winter-themed cake by using a round cake pan and blue frosting. Then pipe snowflakes on with white frosting and sprinkle with white edible glitter or coconut.

Alice in Wonderland Birthday Invitations

What is sweeter than a birthday tea party! Whether it be an inspired Alice in Wonderland birthday or a tea party bash. Little girls love throwing imaginary tea parties with their dolls. Invite her friends along with their dolls and have a sweet girly birthday this year.

What Do I Need For the Party?

In addition to basic Alice in Wonderland party supplies, like plates, cups, napkins, and decorations, you may want to consider purchasing, borrowing or renting the following items for your tea party:
Mis-matched tea sets, doilies and fancy table cloths
Large decks of cards
Disney's or Tim Burton's Alice in Wonderland movies and music
Long dining room tables
Plastic jewelry like beaded necklaces, rings and crowns
Inflatable or silk flowers and trees
Alice in Wonderland Costumes for Alice, the Mad Hatter, and the Red Queen
Stuffed animals of a white rabbit, dormouse, lobster, lizard, and other animals from the Alice in Wonderland stories.

Tea Party Food Ideas

There are no pizza and hamburgers at a tea party! Make this event an intimate affair, where your guests will really feel like grown-ups!
Here are some ideas:
Shaped Snacks: Use cookie cutters in the shape of tea pots and flowers to make cookies. You can also use the cookie cutters to cut out shapes in sliced cheese to serve with crackers.
Finger Sandwiches: A must-have at any tea party! Make sandwiches in a variety of different flavors, such as cucumber & cream cheese, ham & cheese, peanut butter & jelly, and tuna salad. Cut the crusts off the sandwiches and then cut each into fourths. Arrange the pieces nicely on a platter for serving.
Let each guest make their tea their own! Set out a small bowl of sugar cubes, a squeeze bottle of honey, a small plate of sliced lemon, and a creamer of milk.
Additional Beverage Options: No need to stick with just tea at your tea party! Along with the warm beverage, try serving fruit punch, lemonade, and sparkling cider as well.
Chocolate Fondue: Set up a chocolate fondue pot or a chocolate fondue fountain in the center of the table. Give each of your guests a plate of goodies for dipping, including strawberries, marshmallows, lady finders, bananas, and apple slices.
Tea Party Cake: One circular cake can create two teacup cakes! Cut a circular cake in half. On one side of each half, cut out the shape of the cup handle. Frost each cake in white frosting and decorate with pink and purple decorator icing and candies.
